Our union does business in 23 counties in Western Pennsylvania that represents over 1,100 active members. Currently, we have over 70 contractor relationships in Western PA. Through the Labor/Management partnership, you have the opportunity to work regionally, nationally and internationally.

Originally established as “The Tinners of Pittsburg,” Allegheny and vicinity, was organized in 1880, known as Local Assembly 1525. A few years later the members reorganized as “Tinners’ Union of Pittsburg,” which was joined to the International Tin and Sheet Iron Workers Association, becoming known as “No. 12.”
